A tight edit of still images and moving-image stills, shown side by side so both formats can be read together.
Approach
Light first, then movement
I work with the light a place already has. I wait for it to settle on a surface, a face, or a street, and I let the frame hold what happened there. Whether the subject is a still or a moving scene, I aim for the same honesty: natural color, unhurried framing, and nothing staged for the camera.
Photographs and film stills come from the same eye, so a commission can move between formats without changing its character.
